removing nickel
i have been having trouble removing nickel from aluminum. i do just as the manuel suggests: pickle #3 with the GP plates and the polarity reversed. i use the same current as if i were plating it. the manuel says it should only take 1-5 mins. i leave it in there for a couple of hours and still a good deal of nickel is still left. what gives? are there any tips or tricks i should know.

Just wonering if you ever heard of nitric acid, this is not sold by caswell but it is very good for removing nickle and copper only from alum only. You might be able to search the web for a suppler near you.
