Default electroplating aluminum

I was thinking of chroming the bores on aluminum cylinders of
2-cycle engines once I use Zindicate can I use copy chrome kit to
flash chome bores and will it stand up as well as original flash chrome
bores? Also if I mask-it do I need to remove the masking after chroming.
Sorry but I'mm learning this is new to me.....

If you use lacquer to mask, then lacquer thinner is the best way to remove it.

You should also read the 'hard chrome' section of the manual.
There is an EXCELLENT section on plating the inside of tubes etc. using 'liquid level adjusters' etc. to mask areas you don't want to plate.
This also ensures accurate plating with minimal machining.

Also see the Flash video on anodes.
