Default Is there something I can substitute for Nitric Acid?
I'm having adhesion troubles with plating aluminum & read that Zincate followed by Nitric Acid & a second dip in Zincate would solve this......problem is I can't find Nitric Acid anywhere locally.


Any Suggestions?

What exactly are you doing in the way of prep? It would be better to cure the problem by altering your technique than using Nitric - 'orrible stuff!
