Default can't get pits out.

I have the 4 1/2 gall. kit got the flash and acid copper to look good (pink) when i take it out of the tank but it doesn't fill the pits after five times at 45 mins. I still can't tell any different, the part is steel, 27sq.in. at 2.7 amps, 45mins at a time, and softy sand with 400 wet/dry paper. Thanks for any help.

Filling pits will take alot longer than that if they are very deep, I would sand the pits before plating if possible.

What else is recommended for deep pits? I have also built up the copper, have used plum-loy to moderate success, but the deep ones are still an eyesore. They're just little pin holes, but are not filling in well. Any thing else to use? I do not want to grind the part down any more than i have... Has anyone had luck with the pitstop, and will it fill pin holes?...I mean these things are tiny, but deep. Thanks.

You can fill the pits with solder or if the are really large even a Mig welder will work great
you can also use a die grinder and surface prep pads the work great and don’t mark up the surface to bad
