After Chroming threaded holes will not work
I recently got several items chromed and I have been dealing with a lot of trouble with getting bolts into threaded holes in these aluminum pieces. Can any of you metal plating guy's advise how to get these holes to accept bolts. I realize that the people doing the plating should have inserted bolts in these holes to protect the threads, but that was not done. Thanks for all advise.

Your problem is commonplace when dealing with chrome parts. The way to fix it is to tap the holes out on internal threads or run a die if it's on external threads.
