Default Removing Anodes when not in use?

Who does or doesnt remove their anodes when not in use? I have them all bagged and some books say either or. Im talkn copper, nickel, chrome anodes.

I remove mine when not in use . Reason there is acid in the solutions and even though they may be small amounts they will eventually eat the anodes it is a good idea to remove them

with me it all depended on the amount of use or lack of,if i plated eack week i would leave mine in place,if i only plated say once in a while i would remove them by rinsing in a distilled water tank and then using this same rinse to pour back into my bath as they evaporate.
