WHAT TYPE OF METAL WAS USED FOR EMBLEMS IN THE 60'S. WHAT TYPE OF PLATING IS ON THOSE EMBLEMS ? WHAT TYPE OF PLATING WAS USED ON THE DOOR MOLDINGS, HEADLIGHT EYEBROWS, ROOF DRIP RAILS ETC. IS IT ZINC, POLISHED STAINLESS ? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT

They're probably pot metal castings.
Your other questions are much too general for anyone to answer. Perhaps if you posted make, model numbers etc., someone might be able to help.

Depends on what make of car we are talking about. Most GM cars used anodized aluminum for grills and side moldings in the 60s. Trim around the front and rear glass was usually stainless steel.Emblems were mostly chrome plated.
