    Question 24k gold plating kit

    hi ,i am new at this ,i want to gold plating diecast (hotwheels)in to gold but i thing i have to put nickel on it before.can someone give me a good trick or way to do this in a perfect way and what do i need for this.

    Hello,
    If you want to plate on diecast:
    1. Buff and polish diecast.
    2. Copper strike- Copper under plate is your barrier to diecast.
    3. Copper plate (100 microinches).
    4. Buff/polish if you wish.
    5. Clean/acid activate.
    5. Plate nickel (100 microinches).
    6. Activate acid dip.
    7. Plate gold.
