Default New Kit Couple Questions Please

Hello,
I have just purchased (and received yesterday) the Triple Chrome Kit. I have been looking in the forums but haven't quite found the answers I am looking for. I hope I am posting in the correct forum and apologize if not.

I realize I will be doing a lot of practice before I actually move on to what I bought the kit for which is to deck out a '79 Spitfire. I can't wait until I have the skill to chrome my ZS 150 CD Carb like the Stromberg 97 Carb I saw of jimcarreys. I am anxious to begin mixing everything and begin my learning process but I live in the NE and am concerned about the temperatures when not actually working in my garage and the heat is off (basically Monday - Friday).

I know the manual says that freezing will not effect the solutions though it could possibly burst the tanks. But could someone please share what you do during the winter months as far as the solutions between weekends/projects? Thank you.

How big of a kit do you have?

If it is a five gallon size pail or less you could put the seal the pails and put them in your basement or another place that does not freeze and you don't mind chemicals being. It might be alot of work to lug around the pails when you want to use them though.

I wish I could use my basement. It is a finshed basement and is the main family room.
