what do i need??

ok, here is another question i just thought of. say i had a 1 gallon bottle of your copy chrome solution and the ac power supply that comes with the kit. how do i know if i sufficent power to chrome a part in the one gallon contaier? i could use the 8oz container but i would have to do 1 dip on one end and the 1 on the other to get the full length, versus a 1 gallon conatiner where i could do one single dip(assuming one dip is enough for a good coat).
