Muriatic Acid/Water bath to clean Stainless Bad?

Hello, does dipping stainless steel parts in a 1:10 bath of Muriatic Acid and Tap Water (respectively) bad for the stainless steel's corrosion resistance? I did some test parts and rinsed them off in a bath of warm water and they look great after a couple hours, but will this cause the stainless to lose some of its corrosion resistance sooner than if I just leave it alone?

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel is in the material makeup. Unless the SS has an extra corrosion resistant coating applied to it, dipping the parts will not change it's corrosion resistant properties. The level of resistance to corrosion is due to the material grade.
