Have copy chrome setup, want to do zinc, what do I need?

Hi forum.

I have the nickel cobalt.copy chrome setup, tanks, solution, current controlled power supply, heaters, agitator, etc.

I want to do zinc plating, what do I need? A different solution and anode? I also have the Caswell Plating manual, although it is probably 3-4 years old.

You need a complete zinc kit. There's nothing in the kits that is interchangable (including the manual in your case because the zinc instructions are updated).

I'm confused. The zinc kit is:

So I can't use the heaters, tanks agitation pumps that I already have (rinsed and cleaned)? Isn't the degreaser the same?

Is an updated manual available for sale?

I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff I already have....

You can use the same degreaser, but we strongly advise against reusing pumps/heaters etc from other kits, no matter how well you clean them. You'll contaminate your tank with the other chemical. Considering how cheap the heaters and pumps are, in relation to the plating chemicals, it's simply not worth it.
