question on crystals

posted this in c/c forum but got no response, so i am trying here I have not used c/c system for over 2 years, and have some green crystals I have kept in an air tight container, they came with the system. Are these brightener or c/c crystals? i am going to start using system again so I guess I will be haunting forum as I think I have forgotten most of what I learnt here.
If things have not changed here and in the p/c forum, I know I will get all the help I need in both areas.

Duke,

I am not sure what color the plating salts/crystals were back in '03, but now, the Copy Chrome crystals are a deep red color.

The green crystals sound as if they may be Nickel.

The Brightener is in a liquid form.

This may be a question for one of the Moderators or Mike.

Sorry, but I don't go back that far in my plating experience.
