decorated watch movement
Hello all!
I am a watchmaker and I have decorated a nickel plated watch movement with perlage AKA engine turning. After decoration I have brass showing through the nickel, as to be expected given the nature of engine turning. My question is when re-plating the nickel should I be concerned with the way the “new” plating interacts with the original nickel plating or will the original plating not be affected?
