how many amy per inch? - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

ok im just getting started here and im watching the DVD that comes with the kit it states on the vid that its 1 amp per square inch but from what i read in here its 1 amp per 15 inch. i have the 4.5g tripple chrome kit and need to know what amps should i run with this. i tried to search but didnt find this information.

also on the tank part hanging copper wire could i use welding wire?

With copper and nickel it's 1 amp per 16 sq. in. With chrome you will need 1 amp per sq.in. Yes welding wire should work fine.
