Default Chrome Repair?

I was wondering if there was anyway to fix large chrome item without having to have them completely re-chromed. I had the chrome pieces on my 54 GMC 3/4 ton re-chromed and the guy who did the work did a very **** poor job, some of the chrome is flaking off and all of it has started to rust and pitt. The chrome was suposed to be triple nickel. Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

No sorry the chrome would have to be replated, sounds the like the bottom layers copper and nickel didn't adhere correctly. Call this number for help 614-887-9223. He should be able to help you if you want them rechromed
