Problems getting nickel to stick...brush kit
I recently picked up the brush electroplating kit to do some of my small gun parts.
I first media strip the parts with aluminum oxide media. Buff the part to get a smooth finish Rinse with water and degrease Then I apply a coat of copper. So far so good. After the copper I can't get the Nickel to stick. I've tried brushing and also soaking/dunking. No luck. Switched to Black Krome, same issue. Won't stick. BTW, I'm using the power adapter that came with the kit for all process steps.
