Removing Bluing
I have some small gun parts that I want to plate using your electoless nickel kits. Do I need to remove any bluing before plating?
If so, is there a chemical method for this?

Yes, you should remove it first. The metal should be clean and polished prior to plating.
The gun bluing will be removed by your pre-plating buffing and polishing. No need to use any chemicals.
