Default Silver plating is looking more like Gold?

My Caswell silver solution lately is producing a very golden color insted of a nice silvery white. I have always user a sterling silver fork as the anode and plate at 3 votes. The solution is less then a year old and not used much. What gives?? Gus c.

Sterling silver is only approx 92% pure silver. You'll have better success using a pure silver anode.
