Which is best for my application??

Recently started powder coating and I'm thinking about getting into Chrome plating, but not sure which process would be best for my. I currently mill custom parts for motorcycles using T-6061 aluminum. I sand the piece down to 1000 grit then buff to a very high shine. I then powder coat and then engrave down into the PC. I've been getting alot of calls for chrome plated work and have been sending it out for that, but would like to do my own. Bikers are really into chrome and with the parts I'm milling the largest is 7" X 10" high. I'd like to do combinations of powder coat and chrome as well. I've been reading all the post on copy chrome, nickel plating, chrome plating and have gotten so confused I don't know what is best for my application. So with that background I'm looking for some input from seasoned vets.
