Default Re: Removing old chrome

Depending on the size you may want to consider brush plating to remove the chrome.
Caswell sells everything neccesory for it.
Just use cotten wool over the wand, When removing chrome it comes off as a yellow colour on the cotton just make sure you change the cotton bandage on your wand alot.
Make sure it is yellow on the cotton wool and not orange, If its orange the chrome is removed and this is just slight burn marks.
I always use the brush plating method as its easyer to make sure all the chrome is off.
