Rectifier going crazy today, Why??? - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

ok, this never happened before,Voltage jumping all over the place, from .6 volts up to 5.0 volts same with amps, i have a small reset button next to voltage and i have to hold it in by hand to make it work, Nickel plates are clean, polished, coper tube looks clean, What in the world is going on?? I am thinking there is a short in one of my wires, +_ going to plates _ going to the coper pipe, If i release button then rectifier shuts down

HELP!!

yep sounds like it is going into over current protection. Probably a short somwhere.

12 gauge wire from - neg. side had a short in it, made up a new one, will try it out later, stay tuned. Rich
