Exclamation Plating on Black SS
Hi how would I copper plate onto black stainless steel. Is there any special process or can I just activate and plate?

You need to remove the blackening first, then flash copper plate it.

Well, it depends on how it was blackened - but if it was a technique similar to our Stainless Steel Blackener, some muriatic acid should remove it. Try a 20% solution.
