    how to remove chrome

    dose anyone know of a way to remove chrome from all types of metal
    any good liquid strippers that work fast ??

    Use caution when stripping from Pot Metal parts - if the part is pitted down to the pot metal, the acids will attack the pits and begin to dissolve the parts.

    Hello,
    I have been removing plated chrome from nickel using the following:
    Remove chrome plating layer with 30 % hydrochloric acid (remember acid into water).

    For furher information write back on this process.
