You can't plate titanium onto anything (nor aluminum, steel, iron etc)
Hi guys. I've been doing some research looking for a place that can electroplate SS with Titanium when I remembered this forum. If there's any place where I can find a solution, this is it!
The goal is to have a watch back with a durable finish that if not actual Titanium, would at least pass for it. What I have now is something that is painted to look like Titanium. I'm hoping to find someone that can provide a service that could give a group of us a finished product that will replicate that look as closely as possible. I thought about powder coating but I'm not sure if that is the way to go should there be something along those lines.
I'll subscribe to this post so I can keep on top of any questions or ideas that are posted.
Thanks!
