    Default zinc copy cad hair

question, ocasionally when I zinc some parts I get a hair like growth on the parts edges and on the wire, if i remove the zinc and start over it seems to not reoccur.. any ideas on what this is or the cause?

Pics? If it's a sharp edge or a point (for example), you'll need to add a robber to pull a little current away from the area. Not quite sure why the wouldn't come back after stripping.

I was thinking along those lines, I'm using an ajustable power supply and possible that the smut on the wire after restrip lowers resistance just enough drop current flow to acceptable. I'm no longer using current density to set current I just check the voltage across and set to .5 -.7 volts and go. Have great results just the occasional pointy hair issue, will focus on the power side. thanks for the reply..
