SS and Aluminum small ID bore polishing - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

I need to polish small bores in both 1/4" and 3/8" ID does anyone have some hits/links to polishing items for these small bores? What would you use for a wheel or bobbin.

What type of casting are the bores in? Gun barrels? Pipes? This could be as simple as getting a cartridge sanding roll kit along with a few felt bullet and/or mushroom bobs. (If you can find them that small.)
