I'd probally stick to a 8-10 inch wheel, stacked 2-3 deep. How many amp is you buffer? Amps is important as it usually denotes how hard you can lay into the part. I use a 1hp buffer and use 8 inch sisal's stacked 2 deep and get good results, but for browns and reds i use 6 inch wheels stacked 2 deep. Good luck.

In the How to Buff and Polish" guide here:
http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/...922549ce6821ef There's a small table that gives you an idea on what size wheels you can use with a given HP buffer. I *think* it's almost all the way to the bottom. |
