If the chrome is not pitted, chipped, or anything of that like, you can get away with a loose or canton flannel and the blue polishing compound. Just make sure you use the right size wheel in accordance with your speed and buffer HP. Make sure to check back in with pics, will be interesting to see your results. Good luck!
