polishing chrome on 62 dart - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

Ihave a 62 dart, and would like to try polishing up the chrom, as opposed to having the metal stripped and re-chromed.
The metal is in really good codition, with no rust.
Any suggestions?

If the chrome is not pitted, chipped, or anything of that like, you can get away with a loose or canton flannel and the blue polishing compound. Just make sure you use the right size wheel in accordance with your speed and buffer HP. Make sure to check back in with pics, will be interesting to see your results. Good luck!

The throttle cable is getting repaired right now. I'll take some "before" pictures when it's back, and some after, when I'm done.
