do a google search for your buffer and you will find the online users manual and it can be wired for 220 volts as well and usually will pull 1/2 the amps of 110 volts. will be a dramatic saving on your power bill in a years time.

Just called the shop I ordered the buffer from. It's been two weeks since I ordered it so I figured it had to be in by now. I was just informed that the buffers are backordered - until March 22nd!! ARRRGGHH!!!!
I know this kinda goes against the forum rules, but anyone know where I can lay my hands on a Jet JSB-10H buffing machine? All the local shops don't have any in stock and I don't feel like dropping $350 on a Baldor with less power than the Jet unit... I'm going to go cry into my dinner... |

I'd be more than happy to - if you put up the other $150 it'll cost me. (Not to mention what shipping would run on that thing)
I found a local shop that has 2 of the Jet buffers in stock. Unfortunately, they can't tell me if they're the 3450 RPM units or the 1725 RPM units. Looks like I'm taking a drive to find out. |
