The proverbial gods are against me. The two Jet untis that were in stock locally are the 1725 RPM models. Not gonna work for my purposes.

Been on the 'net most of the morning calling all Jet retailers I can find. Nobody has one of the 3650 RPM units.. Certainly there's got to be *one* sitting on a shelf somewhere....

My buffer was supposed to arrive this past Friday. I'm hoping it'll show up tomorrow. I've got the day off and want to fabricate a pedestal for it then give it a test spin.

<RANT>

Just called the shop I ordered the buffer from and found out it won't arrive until the 5th! I'd asked for 3 day shipping back on Tuesday when I placed the order and they zingled me for 3 day, but sent it ground. Evidently I didn't speak slowly or clearly enough to the knucklehead I placed the order with... now I'm even further behind!!! ARRRGGHHHH!!!!!!
