do you need to let greaseless compounds dry after applying to wheel? if so how long ? it seems like compound doesnt stay very long i can only sand very little.

Yep, let 'em dry before you use 'em. If I have a large piece to work on, I do the "load the wheel and let it dry" operation twice. A single load will net me about 10-15 mins or working time if I don't really lay into the part.
The stuff does cut pretty fast so be careful!

i put it on and run with it ... i use a little more but i get around 15-20 min. a shot that is with a sprial wheel
