I ended up just getting the clutch cover beed blasted, it was just much easier than trying all kinds of stuff. I have a bunch of pics I need to take for you to see. right now im almost done polishing the cover. I painted the insert, pumpcover, and stator case they turned out great but the colors are off a bit, its hard to match colors you buy with factory colors. Once I take some pics you'll see. I also polished up the brake lever, kickstart, shifter, and my pegs. You'll get a kick out of what i did with the pegs, i polished the outsides then painted the insides of them where its to hard to bother polishing, mainly for a rust prevent. Hopefully i'll have pics by this weekend mainly cause i leave for pismo next Thursday and i want pics before the salt air and water hit any of them.

I tried the same thing with my footpegs. I painted the insides with red brake caliper paint then polished the hell out of 'em. All the polishing funk pretty much ruined the paint so I decided to say the hell with it and hauled 'em off to the platers. heehe
