I was wondering if anyone had tried POR15 GLISTEN PC on polished aliminum?
Reading their marketing hype you'd have to believe the stuff will cure cancer but I'd prefer the opinions of some of the experts here. |

This would be best posted on POR-15's forum...oh wait, they don't have one. There are much better products out there than POR, such as Zoops and Rust Bullet. Innovative products developed and sold by small family run businesses, like us

Sorry, didn't know they were considered competitors. I thought if it was good you could sell it to us and if it was bad people here would know.
I know Zoop is good but the problem is it does not seem to be sold in small quantities and as such is really not ideal for on-demand work... unless there's a trick I'm missing? |

We used to sell POR
We discounted the product for a promotion (our choice) and they told us to raise the prices. Not a company we want to do business with, sorry.

I guess I'm a little frustrated by the direction this thread has gone. I do understand the concept of the private forum. What I don't understand is that I have a need for a product that can be used in small quantities for small projects and a needs that's not currently filled by products available here or at least nobody is admitting to knowing of any.
I've spent alot of my money on Caswell products and I think that the customer sevice is top notch. I would not shop elsewhere if the same product is available here. Is there a product that Caswell sells that can be used in small quantities to protect polished aluminum without dulling it? If not then I guess I do have to look somewhere else but it seems to me my question could have been answered without trying to convince me that they are bad people. See the difference? Me=Caswell fan. I want to stay that way. That's why I'm asking here. |

Zoop is coming out with a smaller kit very soon. Watch the web site for details.
