I have a set of 16" polished aluminum wheels on my truck that have minor corrosion. I have used some mothers polish and neverdull stuff and it does an ok job but I want more of a shine. I have minor surface corrosion from winter that I need to get rid of. What is the best procedure to make the wheels shine? Will the $39 Caswell aluminum polishing kit be just what I need to do the job? Do I need to do any sanding to remove the corrosion and prep the surface? I know the wheels do not have a clearcoat so I don't need to go through that step. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
