how many of you skip the tripoli rouge all together

seems like when I go from the black w/ spiral to tripoli w/ spiral it messes up the finish? Anybody have any ideas why

I don't use brown at all. I go from black right to white.

I used to use tripoli, but I've since gone to Tom's method and am having excellent results.

black sisal, white spiral,white loose.

like tom and skiddz ... that way works the best so far..... but every one go's about it there own way .. it is what ever works best for you
