and has so far started 2 fires. The shine of the trailer is so hot. What can I do to stop this? Is there some stuff I can spray the trailer with or do I just go and have the trailer acid washed to take the glare of the trailer? Hope for some professional help. Best regards Stilling |

Thank you! That's what I have done for now, but when we use the trailer and park it the field when we are going roping is a problem. Also it should not be an issue to take the trailer anywhere. We need to get away from using the tarp. |

i hate to say this ... either acid wash it ... or take it down a dirty muddy road ...... clear coating cut's the shine to .... so what every way you go good luck .... and as for the jockey /trainer he is good ... when he run's i bet on him every time .. he is like money in the bank

Would it help any to mount a couple of small covered vents in the roof to let some of the heat escape, like they do with house attics? That's the only other thing that comes to mind to me. Good luck with it, and sure the poor horses have plenty of water to drink while in there, if it gets THAT hot!

I realize this is a long shot, but would it be possible to remove this piece, do an under coat with something like "Black Satin", then re-attach it? If memory serves correct, it has to cure around 400 F though doesn't it? Which means the part would have to be re-polished due to thermal discoloration?
IR lamps, I suppose you could do it installed... |
