somebody has to have experience polishing aluminum.
i am trying to polish my wheels and have a couple questions. Is a copper wire brush ok to use on aluminum and will it smooth it out any? How do i wet sand in the creases between the spoke and the edge of the rim? How do you use polishing compound with the felt and cloth pieces? Thanks, Kyle

it will help you out some ......
seems youre way off on this. Firstly a dremel aint really up to the job. Secondly you need cloth polishing wheels and special polishes rather than brushes. Caswell do wheel polishing kits on their site designed to be used with a hand drill or polishing machine and flexi shaft. Once you have those the guide mentioned above will explain how to use the kit to get great results
I am only using the dremel to polish the awkward places on the wheel. This is the write up i read to polish wheels.Originally Posted by customandsound
