compound ?

ive never used compounds. i just finished wet sanding to 2000. and was started with emery on a stitch sewn. i notice it leaves alot of small scratches on the part. will these clear up with tripolie or white.

i have basically every color bar. what colors should i use and what order.
the part is aluminum sport bike parts.

Try the tripoli on a soft wheel in an inconspicuous spot and see what it does.

If you have wet sanded all the way to 2000, on aluminum use white on a loose cotten if you are still seeing scatches back down to tripoli/spiral and then back to white/loose.
