what would you guys prefer on cast aluminum to get rid of the tough casting and pits...Wheel cement with oxide or greaseless. I am thinking of getting some felt bobs and was wondering which product works best. This is for a turbo compressor housing and some aluminum valve covers. Thanks.

Turbo Charger Compressor housing:
I just polished a Garrett T3 Compressor housing and used a combination of 220, 320 cartridge rolls and grease less. I then wet sanded with 600 and 1000 grit wet and dry. I then used Sisal/Emery to start the buffing, and then finished with White Rouge. The housing are hard and take a lot of buffing. you might even want to go to 1500 grit wet and dry before you try buffing! John |
