Help;
I am a accutron watch collector, rebuilder. I have a clock face (6" diameter) that the nickel plating has worn off, and it has a sunburst, from the center, brushed pattern that has some small, but noticeable scratches. Before I replate this, I want to remove the scratches, and yet keep the radial brushed pattern. Anybody have any experience doing this sort of work, please share that experience? OK, No experience, I would also like to read about any ideas, or thought's you’ all might have....... Thank_You_In_Advance Spamless |

Re: Request for image:
Here is a link to what it looked like before the damage, although the radial pattern does not show up very well: http://www.mybob.net/rope_front.jpg Thank for looking Bob Spamless B |

Two pics of clack fase as-is.
The yellow/green is masking to keep new nickel out of machining that was done AFTER the originial plating. It is not easy to show pattern in pics, but you can see that the old plating is also coming off in the radial pattern. Bob SpamLess B |
