Frame frustrations

Mitchell, I'm polishing a bunch of aluminum parts off my bike also and I've tried the talcum powder technique but didn't really see any results. When you get to the talc stage about how long would you say you spend on this step? Is it a pretty quick clean-up for you or do you need to spend a bit of time with the talc just as you would with the various other compunds.

It takes me about the same amount of time as it does with the brown and white rouge. They will not diappear completely, close up, but once you put the blue magic on it they should disappear almost completely.

I'll give it another shot and spend some more time with the talc. I'll also give the Blue Magic a try. I do know that Mother's aluminum polish sucks. Way too abrasive.
