Half of an alternator from a 68 Cougar. It's for display. It's actually the first piece I've polished.

You did a good job. OEM equipment always seems to bring a greater deal of satisfaction from being "blingerized" as opposed to aftermarket parts.

Thanks for the comments. I've owned a custom paint shop for about 7 years and I have just now began powdercoating and polishing. After dissecting this forum for a month or two I've learned how to get a pretty good finish from you guys. Now if I can figure out how to do it faster like customandsound's post with the valve cover he did in a 1/2 hr. It took me about 2 1/2 hrs. to do this piece.

And about uploading the pics... Photobucket rocks!

I'm curious how the section on the upload screen with the label "Upload Images From a URL" works. I've tried copying and pasting the URL tags from pics I've uploaded to Cardomain.com and it still won't take. Funny thing is, if I check the "Skip Upload and process the files already in your upload directory" box, it doesn't get stuck on a white screen after I hit "Submit." (But it also ignores any images in the upload box.)

Has anybody hyperlinked photos into the photo album off of other websites? How did you do it?

Check the size of the file I think if there to big it just ignores you it doesn't tell you that there to big.

I just copyed and pasted this link from my sons web page. I always use 560x420 I think that what it is. I have a program called ACDC viewer that has resize in it.

My camera is set to 640X480, so none of my pics are larger than that, and I've already played around with scaling them down to smaller sizes. I've gotten them down to 320X240 and still no dice.

Mr. Caswell said that there is probably some setting on my PC that this particular upload screen doesn't like, so I'm trying to figure out a way to get around that by hyperlinking off of cardomain. (Only into the album instead of into individual threads.)
