Default After compounding Aluminum- how to get rid of swirl marks

OK, I've finished compounding my aluminum with the help I gained from a previous post I made. Need help polishing aluminum tanks

Now I'd like to get rid of the swirl marks.

I purchased from Caswell, the white rough bar W BC7 http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffing.htm

Did they sell me the right stuff.

Secondly, was planning on using a commercial random orbital buffer to apply. Is this OK, Is there a better way. What type of pad, wool or foam?

Thanks guys this forum has been very helpful.

Here is my project so far. http://www.hbscomputers.com/polishing/

Keep us posted...not sure how you define swirl marks, but I usually have "phantom scratches" myself after coloring.

By the way, by "rough" do you mean "rouge"?
