Question help with peerless polish

hello all,
i have just come back after 2 weeks holiday and i need my polishing fix...so work can stop for a bit.
i have collected all the tools i need and eventually got top size compounds from Caswell,i have peerless polish that states its the highest quality white compound,as i have not read much on this please could anyone give me there views on using it, as i may as well use it instead of the white.
as you will tell i am not in a hurry to start straight away as i need to secure my buffer to my bench,i do not fancy using a electric drill to polish as i took your advice as i can see some damage been done if i try either to the workshop or myself.
take care
grommit
