Polishing table

Hi guys,

I need to polish large aluminum sheets approx 8'x20'. The flat sheet lays on the table and a row of buffing wheels travels the length of the sheet polishing it as it travels.
I know there is a table that is out there to polish these but I can't seem to find any info on it.
Does anyone have any info on them?
I would greatly appreciate it.

We have one at work to polish stainless steel plates. It's an Imeas, made in Italy. Uses vaccuum to hold the plate down, and a stack of vent buffs 22" in diameter that ocillates back and forth as the table is moved across the face of the buffs. Hope this helps.

I have to do a cost analysis for this table for our plant in Thailand. Can you tell me how long it should take to polish an 8' x 20' sheet?

I don't know any specifics because I didn't operate the machine. I'm pretty sure they only buffed stainless plates with it though. Unfortunately I no longer work there either so it might be a little difficult to find out any more information. Sorry I couldn't help you more.
