on my harley I want to turn all my beautiful chromes into a mat/satin finish ,no more shine.Is there a chemical gentle enought that would do that without having to recoat to prevent rust.thank you for your time.

You'll need to strip the existing plating, bead blast the part to a satin finish, then re-apply the plating.
