Question High speed drill?

After polishing my bikes rear wheel several times I realized my error is not in the polishing but the drill. My drill isn't fast enough, it's only 2500 rpm and using a 4" wheel it isn't enough sfpm's to do the job right. Because of the shape of the wheel I have to use a drill and 4" wheel, nothing else will fit inside the wheel contours. Been looking around and I can't find anything over 2500 rpms, does anybody know of a drill that will get at least 3600 rpms?

Have you considered a die grinder and buffs to get the extra speed?

Ha! As a matter of fact I went and bought a pnuematic mini die grinder today, 22,000 rpm, a little high but should work pretty good, now I just need a good compressor, the 120psi one I got just don't cut it.......

I use die grinders for all kinds of work but they are air hogs for sure. The only other thing to get the RPM's would be a 4.5" electric angle grinder and get an adapter from Caswell. They have adapters to run the 4" wheels and others.
