Default Semi Truck Wheels and Tanks

Hello,
I would like some help from the professionals. I am polishing Alcoa Aluminum wheels and tanks on a KenWorth Semi Truck. Although the truck is only a few years old the aluminum is very pitted and I am having trouble getting that mirror finish I desire. Could someone who does this for a living let me know the exact step taken.

I have tried sanding out the pits with a 6" da air sander then buffing with brown and white on a spiral sewn wheel. I have also tried using vented airways.

Thanks is advance for any suggestions.
