Hey guys and gals, I have a primary cover off of a 66 Triumph I am getting ready to polish. It is by no means in good shape. I have already bead blasted it but it still has a lot of scratches and small nicks. I have all of the greaseless compounds but have had no luck using them yet. I tried putting it on the wheel while it was moving, it seemed to sling more on the floor than stayed on the wheel. Should I put in on the wheel before I turn the motor on? If so how much should I use? Also, which wheels are best to use between the Sisal and the Loose? Are there benefits to each? What is the best thing to use to clean parts between compounds?
Thanks, D.J. Last edited by chcustom; 08-06-2006 at 09:13 PM. |
